The Future of CO₂  Supply Webinar

Published on
March 11, 2024

Join Skytree for the first webinar in our 3 part series, focusing on the topic of ‘The Future of CO₂  Supply,’ to find out how Direct Air Capture (DAC) can revolutionize CO₂ enrichment for vertical farms. We will dive into the obstacles vertical farms are currently facing due to the volatility of CO₂ supply chain and highlight how DAC technology can bring a more sustainable, reliable, and stable solution directly onsite.

This webinar will:

  1. Explain the benefits of Direct Air Capture technology and how it fits into the future of more efficient CO₂ supply.
  2. Highlight use cases that demonstrate how using this revolutionary technology can improve total cost of ownership over time.
  3. Offer an opportunity to ask all DAC and vertical farm related questions to our Business Development Director, Camille Hanna.

Who is this for?

This webinar is for everyone interested in understanding the next crucial steps in revolutionizing the CO₂ supply chain, especially in the vertical farming sector.

First results of the trial with Skytree’s Cumulus at the Bleiswijk Innovation Center

Kas als Energiebron has published the first results from Skytree's Cumulus trial at Bleiswijk Innovation Center and they match the industry's standard OCAP Pipeline System.

The unit has captured and supplied over 1,660 kg of CO₂ to cucumbers over 166 days. These are promising results for the future of DAC in Dutch greenhouse horticulture.
