Deep Sky and Skytree: Advancing Carbon Removal
Deep Sky is one of the largest carbon removal and storage projects on earth. Skytree has been selected by Deep Sky as one of the top DAC companies to deliver 1 Skytree Stratus unit in 2024 to be tested at Deep Sky lab.The system will be installed in Alberta, Canada to leverage the region's renewable hydroelectric energy.
Deep Sky and Skytree will also explore scaling up to a Skytree Stratus DAC hub as part of the evaluation phase at Deep Sky Labs. A Skytree DAC Hub consists of multiple Stratus units, each with a capacity of 900 tonnes per year and can be installed to accommodate any CO2 site capacity requirement.
