Q: What was your first day at Skytree like?

A: My first day at Skytree was hectic, but I sensed a startup vibe. Sandra and Sarah guided me through the onboarding process as I took over responsibilities from Chante at Level-up agency.

Q: What were the first priorities for your role?

A: Initially, my priorities included securing the best talent, such as making a significant hire like Susie, updating templates, and refining job descriptions to align with our evolving needs.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about your work here at Skytree?

A: The people are truly amazing. Despite the challenges of the job, working with such a supportive team makes every day enjoyable and fulfilling.

Q: How has your role contributed to the wider development of Skytree?

A: Since joining when Skytree had 45 employees, I've played a key role in scaling our team to over 100 across three locations. My focus on talent planning has been instrumental in supporting our growth trajectory.

Q: How would you describe your growth trajectory at Skytree?

A: Over the past year, my role has evolved significantly. Initially centered on people planning, I've taken on broader responsibilities such as budgeting, reflecting Skytree's expansion and development needs.

Q: What keeps you motivated to work here at Skytree?

A: Contributing to meaningful climate technology initiatives is a huge motivation. Skytree's commitment to making a positive impact beyond profits resonates deeply with me.

Q: What makes you proud of being a part of Skytree?

A: I take pride in our diverse team and the social impact of our work. It's inspiring to collaborate with colleagues from 26 different nationalities and witness firsthand the innovative solutions we develop.

Q: What initially attracted you to Skytree?

A: I was initially attracted to Skytree through Level-up agency, and Sandra's screening call solidified my interest. The opportunity to work with a pioneering company in Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology was compelling.

Q: What do you think is the most exciting part of our future?

A: Looking ahead, I'm excited about Skytree's expansion into new locations and our role as pioneers in DAC technology. Our involvement in CO2 reduction efforts through conferences and studies adds to the excitement of what lies ahead.

Q: What would you say if people ask why do you like Skytree?

A: I appreciate the meaningful work we do, the innovative culture, and the opportunity to contribute to something greater than ourselves.
